Becca's Power Salad

DIRECTIONS

First make the dressing! this is really the simple magic sauce  to the whole thing. You can be creative with your salad and make it however you like and then this sauce turns it into heaven :) I always change up the salad! sometimes I add fresh sliced pears or apples or I do grapes instead of cranberries or for a summer feel I do strawberries instead of cranberries or tomatoes and onions. you really can't go wrong.​​

1. mix together the minced garlic, sugar, olive oil and balsamic vinegar in a dressing container. shake well and set aside.

2. toss box of field greens with dressing

3. add additional ingredients and gently toss

This delicious salad makes for a satisfying meal or is the perfect compliment to a Turkey and baked chicken dinner!

  • 1 box feildgreens salad

  • 1/2 cup freeze dried or fresh edamame

  • 1/2 cup raw or candied walnuts

  • 1/4 cup seed trail mix 

  • 1/4 cup cranbarries

  • 1/4 cup crumbled Goat, Gorganzola, or blue cheese.

  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil

  • 4 tablespoons balsamic vinegar

  • 1 clove garlic minced
